End of the Month

So, it's the end of the month, and i don't have a lot to report. I apologize for the lack of updates, if you think this is bad, you should see my journal. I once went a whole year without writing in it. And then there are times that I will write and write for five days in a row. It's not common, but it does occur.

There's a new girl in Recreation at work. Her name is Karen. She's really nice, and she reminds me a lot of me when I first started at the Lodge. She looks a little overwhelmed sometimes. I miss Stacy a lot. And people keep mentioning her, and asking if i miss her -- HELLO! I'm human! We really worked well together.

Tomorrow is my birthday, I'll be 29. I have no exciting plans, other than dinner with two of my favorite people tonight, and breakfast with my sister tomorrow morning. I do work 12-8 tomorrow, so I'll probably go to the gym afterwards and have some fun in the pool.

The biggest Loser starts at work on Wednesday and I have signed up. My team is gonna rock -- the nurses will verbally kick my A** when i need it, and we all know that I need a verbal kick in the butt every so often.

My weekends have been pretty quiet this month -- aka i've been bored. And when i'm bored, I shop or play on the computer. The upside to stacy leaving is I can shop at Reitman's now! I got a pair of jeans and a pair of black pants for $10 each. They look fabulous -- other than the jeans too long, but i'm not going to hem them until they've been through the dryer a few times... don't need another pair of capris!

I haven't heard from any of the jobs I've applied for (all 32 in the last month), and that makes me sad :( Especially when I'm really qualified for most of them. (ARE YOU SURE THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH MY RESUME OR THE CONNECTION THAT IS SENDING IT?!) But that's okay. God is doing some things that are beyond my understanding right now, so He's working in my favour! Can I get an AMEN! I'm cutting down on the number of jobs I apply for, as I am going away with my sister and her husband and the kids to North Carolina/Tennessee next month, and don't wanna have to cancel my trip because of a new job.

Well, that catches you up on the life of Lea! And your life is more complete now!

Love Lea
