My general swaps

So here starts the pictures. Here are copies of my general swaps. I actually had to make another copy of them yesterday as I swapped out all the ones I made last week.
The wreath, which was loved by everybody was made using a piece of old olive cardstock, which measured 1 1/2" by 11", which was then punched with the eyelet border punch. I then ran the strip through a paper crimper 4 times to break down the fibers and add some crinkles. My awesome mom accordion folded it up and down and then I added some snail and glued the two ends together, so I had a ring. I just flattened it, by pressing down on it, into a ring, and added some sticky strip to various places to secure it to the very vanilla card stock. I used a mini glue dot to add the bow made with very vanilla satin ribbon (LOVE IT!) and the berries were made with the larger whole punch on the crop a dile and secured them with a two way glue pen. I used cherry cobler card stock (I LOVE this new color) and the Designer Series Paper (DSP from here on in) is Jolly Holiday. In my swapped version, I added "Merry Christmas" with white craft ink, but I gave that stamp back to my friend, Tanya because it was her's.

Card number two is a step card. I got this idea from Dawn Griffith's blog. She has awesome videos on her blog and you can go to here to see it. Again my awesome mom spent three hours cutting out 100 little white westies for my swaps. Thanks Mom! I used certainly celery, tangerine tango and the DSP is Sunny Garden. If you want more information on how to make this card, see Dawn's blog or feel free to email me.
Anyways, I have to run. I have to be at the track clinic in 35 minutes.... Eeek!

Until the next time... keep stamping. And remember, it's ART, it doesn't have to be perfect!

Love Lea
